I believe coaching should be accessible to everyone.
Not just the C-Suite.
Especially because, for women, there are stages of life and career that can really impact your wellbeing.
The feedback we’ve received has been nothing but glowing.

I’ve always found Karen to be easy to work with, very approachable and passionate about working with women. She creates a safe, trusting and comforting space for our graduates to share and explore challenges, ideas and thoughts. She enables them to develop their perspectives and solutions so they can help themselves move forward confidently.

When you work with me:
I give you tIme and space to think.
I’m an unbiased, non-judgemental listener.
I’ll help you make sense of things in new ways, even (and especially) when the situation is challenging.
I’lll work with you on your clarity, direction, perspective and renewed energy.
You get choice. Always choice.
Some things I’m not: I’m not a ‘six-figure, visualise your million pound home, attend a summit in LA’ coach. I don’t promise sales figures, or coach using the same programme and tools for everyone. I don’t run a pyramid scheme of coaches who aren’t really coaches.
I won’t tell you it’s all down to your mindset.
I’m not an expert on you – you are.
Why I coach
In early 2020, I had a 4 year old in Reception, I was 45, I’d been made redundant from a senior job two years before, and I was self-employed. I ignored what increasingly felt like PMT x1000, because lockdown. Rage, anxiety and overwhelm? Of course!
Only a chance reading of Period Power by Maisie Hill, and half-heartedly measuring my BBT for want of something better to do (I also baked sourdough, don’t worry) made me realise something was up. Then I found The Shift by Sam Baker, which I still recommend to lots of women – including you! – and had several big lightbulb moments one after the other.
Out of the blue, I was offered 12 sessions of coaching for free – as long as I agreed to have 80 trainee coaches listening in.
Those weekly sessions saved my sanity.
In 2009, I’d done a womens’ personal development weekend which was life-changing, and I’ve been volunteering with the organisation ever since. I’ve been a mentor, managed and trained teams. I was a long-term volunteer for Central London Samaritans. All of it was pointing to training as a coach.
When I coach, I come alive. Genuinely.
I’ve always relished roles involving people, problem-solving and communication – if they didn’t have those things, I found a way to squeeze them in. A lot of my career has been in tech and online, with human beings and my relationships with them at the forefront, always. Some (rigorous) training and getting ICF accreditation as a coach was the icing on the cake of all of that.
I LOVE words, and connect with people through language. I read a lot, and write creatively. I’m also one of the small percentage of people who actively likes proofreading and editing, and I take on the occasional freelance piece of work doing it *whispers* for fun.
Considering working with me? Want to meet and see if it's good fit?
We can have a 30-minute, no pressure conversation to talk about where you are now, and where you’d like to be.
